Winifred Simms

Winifred Olivia Simms, 91, a lifelong resident of Pasadena, MD died on Saturday, February 17th, 2024, at Hospice of the Chesapeake. 

She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on Wednesday, October 19th, 1932 to the late Walter and Hattie Lamky.

Mrs. Simms retired as a service desk manager for K-Mart. In her free time she enjoyed activities such as dancing, yard work, sewing, and shopping. 

In addition to her parents Winifred is preceded in death by her husband Dennis Craig Simms and 7 siblings.  She is survived by her loving children, Paul Simms, Dennis Craig Simms, Denise Ferguson, and Sandy Jerscheid; eight grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren. 

Family and friends may visit on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at the Stallings Funeral Home from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.  A Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be offered  at Our Lady of the Chesapeake in Pasadena, Maryland on Monday, February 26th, 2024. Interment Oaklawn Cemetery.
