William "Bill" Turek

William "Bill" Turek, 86, a resident of Pasadena, MD, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023 in his home. 

He   was born on Tuesday, November 10th, 1936 in Kempton, Maryland to the late Stanley Turek and Effie Turek.   Mr. Turek served honorably in the US Army.  He worked for Avis Truck Rental as a driver years ago later he worked for Baltimore Car and Truck as a mechanic.  Most recently he worked for Wolf and Associates as a driver retiring in the early 2000's.  In his free he enjoyed watching sports, especially football, baseball and wrestling.  He was very knowledgeable and could do anything, he enjoyed fixing things and painting around the house.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings Delores Turek and Gene Turek and his granddaughter Stasha Turek.  He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Lynette Turek, his children Brenda Clutz (Stephen), Stevie Turek (Sarah), Cynthia Hunneshagen (Mark), and step-daughter Dawn Spadaro; his brothers Sonny Turek, Phil Turek, and Rudy Turek; his sisters Sharon, Dee Dee, and Gerri; grandchildren, Brian Ben, Greg, Stephanie, Noel, Logan and Gabby; and great grandchildren, Jaxson, Madison, MaeKenzie, Chase, Abel, Brixen and Zoe. 

Friends may call Sunday, November 12th from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where services will be held Monday, November 13th at 12:00 pm. Interment will take place at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery immediately following funeral services.
