William Gore Sr.

William R. Gore, 81, a lifelong resident of Pasadena, MD, died on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

Mr. Gore was born on Sunday, May 10th, 1942 in Baltimore, MD to the late William H. Gore and Gladys Gore. Mr. Gore graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a bachelors degree in business administration. He went on to work for Northrop Grumman as a corporate executive where he retired after 38 years.  He belonged to a hunting and fishing club and enjoyed the sport. In his free time he enjoyed carving ducks, traveling to Mexico, and sitting on the beach.  His family described him as loving, whitty and sarcastic.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Gore; daughters-in-law, Nancy Gore and Tonya Gore; sister, Patricia "Patsy" Cadle (Buddy); and granddaughter, Nicole.  He is survived by William Gore Jr., Son; Michael Gore, Son; Roger Gore (Ruth), Brother; Jeff Gore (Diane), Brother; Tiffany, Granddaughter; and Arabella, Great-Granddaughter.
