It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Warren Lee Yates, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and resident of Salisbury, Maryland. Warren departed this world peacefully on Monday, November 25th, 2024, at the age of 60.
Born in the bustling city of Baltimore, Maryland, on a bright Friday, June 12th, 1964, Warren brought warmth and laughter into the lives of those around him from a young age. He was the much-loved son of Sharon Lee Kiel the late Warren Lee Yates Sr. His life was a testament to devotion and kindness, epitomized in the 40 years he dedicated to his chosen profession as a skilled mechanic.
Warren found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, most notably when he was out fishing on his beloved boat or when music filled the air around him. These moments reflected the spirit of a man who was not only kind and loving but also contagiously outgoing.
He leaves behind a beautiful family legacy, survived by his mother, Sharon Lee Kiel; beloved wife, Yvette Michelle Yates; children Edgar Lee Yates; Savanna Morgan Yates; Vanessa Nicole Yates; Bridgette Corrine Dorsey; Justin Tyme Dorsey; Megan Michelle Oliver; Robert John Tedrow, and Michael Oliver. His family also extends to his cherished sons and daughters-in-law: Kayla Yates, Terriq Bivens, Sr., "T" Schuyler, Angel Oliver, and Haylee Sellards. Warren's joyful presence will continue to be celebrated by his grandchildren: Cheradyn Oliver, Alexander Oliver, Ava Bivens, Violet Dorsey, Adalynn Yates, TJ Bivens, Jr., and Abel Matthew.
Warren now joins in peace his father Warren Lee Yates Sr., his son Marcus Dorsey, his brother Michael Edward Yates, and his beloved sisters Sharon Lynn Griffin and Lorrie Ann Yates.
Family and friends are invited to honor Warren's life and memory. Visitation services will be held at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Services will take place at the same location on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024, at 11:00 am. Interment will take place immediately following funeral services at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
As we gather to celebrate Warren's life, we remember a man who left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him. Warren will forever remain in the hearts of his loved ones and those whose lives he touched.
