Vivian Leigh Finke-James

Vivian Leigh Finke-James, 59, a resident of Baltimore, Maryland, formerly of Pasadena, Maryland, died on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

She was born on Wednesday, January 15th, 1964 in Baltimore, MD to the late Daniel Finke and Mary Lauf. Mrs. Finke-James worked for the Lakeshore location of Giant from 2012-2019. In her youth she played for the Greenhaven softball team. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, watching reality TV shows, true crime television, and the Orioles. 

 In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Sokolis. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Michael D. James; son, Joseph Laplante; daughter, Angela Marie James; brothers, Robert Finke, Edwin Finke, and Daniel Finke; sister Mary Brown; granddaughter, Samantha Laplante.

 Family and friends may visit on Monday, October 9th, 2023 at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, Maryland, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm where funeral services will take place on Tuesday, October 10th, 2023 at 12:00 pm. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery.
