Tony Rosemarie (White) Emerson

Tony R. Emerson (White), 70, of Millersville, Maryland, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026. She was born on January 19, 1955, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Tony was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Walter L. White and Eleanore C. White (Bury); her daughter, Paula Hopkins; and her brother, Randy L. White.

She is survived by her devoted children: Chasity Wright and her husband Joseph, Jerry Phipps and his wife Jennifer, and Paul Phipps and his wife Peggy. She was a loving grandmother to Joseph Wright Jr., Carolyn Hopkins, Brianna Phipps, Autumn Hopkins, Jerry Phipps Jr., and Tristan Hopkins. She is also survived by her brother, Walter L. White Jr., and his wife Virginia.

Tony was known for her strong spirit, matter-of-factness, and deep love for her closest family. She treasured her morning coffee and the daily catch-up conversations with her closest family and friends — moments that brought her great joy and connection. She was a steady source of comfort, laughter, and strength to her family and friends.

Tony’s memory will live on through the love she shared, the family she cherished, and the lives she touched.

There will be no service at this time. The family will be holding a private celebration of life at a later date.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
