Tammy Hand, a beloved resident of Linthicum Heights, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on Wednesday, November 27th, 1957, in Baltimore, Maryland, Tammy spent her life bringing joy and friendship to all who knew her.
A proud graduate of Glen Burnie High School's Class of 1976, Tammy dedicated her career to ensuring operational excellence as a Distribution Supervisor, where she inspired many until her retirement around 2018. Her work was characterized by a commitment to efficiency and a genuine concern for her colleagues.
Tammy was a deeply caring individual with a generous spirit, especially when it came to her older neighbors. She cherished her time tending to her flower garden, relished the company of her beloved cats, and enjoyed the simple pleasures of classic television shows such as "The Andy Griffith Show," "Leave It to Beaver," and "I Love Lucy." Tammy's warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone she met, making friends wherever she went.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Hand of Linthicum Heights, MD; her loving mother, Bonnie Lee Keegan; her caring sister, Teresa Schuder; her brother-in-laws, Dave Hand and Edward Hand; and her sister-in-laws, Rose Thompson and Pam Hand. Tammy's memory also lives on through her treasured niece, Cierra Schuder, and her nephews, Nick Schuder and Justin Schuder, as well as a host of other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Brian Hand, whose loss she deeply mourned.
Friends and family are invited to attend graveside services, which will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Park on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 2pm. In honor of Tammy's unwavering love for animals, donations may be made to the animal rescue organization of your choice.
Tammy's presence enriched the lives of those around her. Her compassionate nature and dedication to others will always be remembered and cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
