Sylvia Beckner Obituary

Sylvia Gail Beckner, 73, a 40 year resident of Pasadena and formerly of Brooklyn, MD, died at her home on July 1, 2021.

Mrs. Beckner was born on December 29, 1947 in South Carolina to the late Lewis and Rhoda Carver. She loved working as a Hairdresser at Rumors Salon in Pasadena where she served for 45 years. Outside of work, she spent a lot of time cooking for the family and cleaning. She will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren, and all who loved her.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Beckner is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Maurice Beckner, Jr. She is survived by her sons, Michael Beckner and Maurice Beckner, III, and 4 grandchildren.

Funeral services and interment are private.
