Stanley "Jim" James Leonard, 87, a resident of Pasadena, Maryland, died on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
Mr. Leonard was born on Monday, November 19th, 1934 in Pasadena, Maryland to Stanley James Leonard and Ella Madora Leonard. He grew up in Pasadena where played baseball and lacrosse in high school and married Ann Curtis on October 30, 1954. In 1970 his job with General Electric took him to Charlotte, NC and then to Dallas, TX in 1978. In 1992 they returned to Maryland and eventually built a home on his childhood property on the North Shore.
Mr. Leonard began working for General Electric when he was 19 years old as a stock boy and over the next 42 years he worked his way up to regional manager, retiring in 1996.
In his spare time he enjoyed golfing and working in his yard.
Mr. Leonard is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Ann Leonard, his daughter Linda Reynolds and her husband Craig, his daughter Karen Leonard-Smith and her husband Darren, his grandchildren Jason, Summer, Garrett, Payton, and Lexy and his great-grandchildren Skye, Nathan, Jenna, Karsyn, Andre, Lily, and Kayden
