Shirley Stammer

Shirley Stammer, 86, a resident of Pasadena, Maryland for most of her life, died on December 13, 2022.

Mrs. Stammer was born on March 27, 1936 in Pennsylvania to the late John and Martha Porter. She was a dedicated homemaker and, in her spare time, enjoyed cooking and traveling. She was also a member of Galilee Lutheran Church and past member of the Rotary Inner Wheel Club.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stammer is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, William Stammer, Sr., and her son, William "Chip" Stammer, Jr. She is survived by her son, Paul Stammer (Beverly); daughters, Diana Pierzchalski and her husband, Thomas Sr. and Laura Stammer; sister, Delia Wojcik; daughter-in-law, Kathy; 3 grandchildren, Thomas Jr (Lisa), Sarah (Mike), and Stephanie; and 4 great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Josh, Connor, and Seth.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Galilee Lutheran Church, 4652 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Galilee Lutheran Church.
