Shirley Ann Bertholdt, 77, a resident of Pasadena for 46 years of formerly of Woodlawn, MD, passed away April 22, 2020 in her home.
Mrs. Bertholdt was born July 21, 1942 in Baltimore, MD to the late Harry and Bessie Wingate. She was an active member of Magothy United Methodist Church where she would help decorate the Church for upcoming holidays and various events. She was a member of the Red Hatter's and of the Pasadena Senior Center where she volunteered 2 days a week. Mrs. Bertholdt loved to travel with friends on group trips, going out to eat and shopping.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bertholdt is preceded in death by her husband Donald J. Bertholdt and brother Charles H. Wingate. She is survived by her son Robert J. Bertholdt (Tracy) of Pasadena, daughter Donna Hall (Tony) of Pasadena, brothers Bernie Wingate of Jacksonville, FL, Richard Wingate of Linthicum, MD, sister Bonnie Lawrence of Glen Burnie, grandchildren AJ Hall and Taylor Bertholdt.
In response to recent developments, the immediate family has chosen to keep the funeral services private in order to protect the health of the public. However, we will be livestreaming the Funeral Service on Tuesday, April 28th at 12:00 (Click here) and at graveside for a brief Committal Service at Loudon Park Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
