Sherman Timothy “Tim” Miller, 84, a 41-year resident of Pasadena, MD and formerly of Salisbury, MD died on February 23, 2021 at Hospice of the Chesapeake.
Mr. Miller was born on July 14, 1936 in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina to the late John and June Miller. After graduating from Southern High School in Baltimore, he served honorably in the United States Air Force and went on to earn an Associate's Degree. During his younger years, Tim was an active member of the Salisbury Jaycees. During his working career, he worked for Xerox, Peninsula Press, Senco & Vertex. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing & hunting. He was an avid history enthusiast, and loved music, especially country, bluegrass, and the king: Elvis Presley. He loved songs from ‘50s and ‘60s and early westerns with Gene Autry and Roy Rogers.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Miller is preceded in death by his son, Matthew Timothy Miller, and brother, John Steven Miller. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Ellen Miller; children, Julie Lewis, Amy (Jeff) Zimmerman, and Travis Miller; 4 grandchildren, Ariodne Lewis, Joshua (Brittany) Lewis, Mark (Paige) Lewis, and Michael "Micky" Basta; and 2 great-grandchildren, Jackson and Emma Lewis.
Funeral services and interment are private.
