Sheila G. (Stroh) Leonard

Sheila G. Leonard, 57, a longtime resident of the Baltimore area died on April 27, 2023 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

She was born on January 14, 1966 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late William H. and Nancy S. Stroh.

Sheila worked for Dr. Gorbaty for over 30 years, retiring in 2022. In her younger years she was a member of Job's Daughters International.  Since 1990, Sheila was a member of Severn Christian Church where she was a vital part of the praise team. She enjoyed cooking for church functions including many outreach mission projects.  In her free time, Sheila found pleasure in searching for recipes, cooking for friends and family, and playing the piano.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Larry Leonard, her daughters Abigail Leonard and Hannah Wineinger, and her sister Amy Stroh-Purdy.

Friends may visit on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Stallings Funeral Home, P.A. from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm and at Severn Christian Church on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 am where services will begin at 11:00 am.  Interment private.  Memorial contributions may be made to Severn Christian Church 8132 New Cut Rd.
