Sharon Fiorino, 74, a resident of Pasadena for 45 years, formerly of Glen Burnie, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022 in her home.
Mrs. Fiorino was born July 13, 1948 in Baltimore, MD to the late John and Shirley Nicklas. She worked as a secretary for the Comptroller of Maryland for 17 years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Glen Burnie where she participated in the Alter's Guild. In her free time, Mrs. Fiorino enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. A loving wife and mother, her family described her as being a sweet, honest, and organized woman who was a devout Christian and was faithful to the Lord. Her husband described her as "the perfect woman".
Mrs. Fiorino is preceded in death by her parents, John and Irene Nicklas and Shirley Russell and daughter, Philomena Fiorino. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Joseph Fiorino, Sr.; children, Anitra Hess, Joseph "Joey" Fiorino, Jr.; brothers, John Nicklas, Brian Nicklas; sisters, Rene Campbell, Bobbie Schaffer, Anna Tharp, Mardell Kowalewski; grandchildren, Colby Hess, Toni Fiorino, and Sophia Fiorino.
Friends may call Monday, August 1st from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where a funeral service will take place Tuesday, August 2nd at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Park immediately following funeral services.
