Rosalie A. Schepers, a cherished resident of Pasadena, Maryland, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on September 3, 1943, in Baltimore, Maryland, Rosalie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many.
Rosalie spent the majority of her life enriching the Glen Burnie community, where she lived from 1966 until 2020, before moving to Pasadena. She began her career as a skilled bookbinder at Optic Bindery in Glen Burnie, where she worked diligently for over a decade. Her dedication to family was evident as she later devoted herself to becoming a caregiver for her husband, father-in-law, and brother-in-law.
Rosalie's passion for serving her community extended beyond her professional life. She was a past member of the Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, where she found fulfillment in service and camaraderie. An enthusiastic bingo player, Rosalie enjoyed the game as a social pastime, often surrounded by friends and laughter.
She is survived by her loving children, Angela M. Kelly and Robert M. Schepers. Her legacy continues through her five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, Rosalie's nurturing spirit and love will be remembered by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Rebecca Rose Jackson, her beloved husband, Martin "Marty" Schepers, two brothers, and three sisters. The family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with them.
Honoring Rosalie's wishes, a private service and interment will be held. Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their support and condolences during this time.
