Ronald "Ron" J. Proskey, Sr.

Ronald "Ron" J. Proskey, Sr., 80, a 2 year resident of Pasadena, MD and formerly of Elkridge, died on December 25, 2020 at the Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, MD.

Mr. Proskey was born on December 31, 1939 in Chicago, IL to the late Joseph and Mary Proskey. He served honorably in the United States Air Force before starting a career in manufacturing that would last over 60 years. He then worked for Northrop Grumman as a Manager for 10 years. Outside of work, Ron was a former member of Orland Park Bible Church in Illinois and currently attended Lighthouse Church in Pasadena. He loved music in all its forms - listening, singing, playing the saxophone, and even serving as his church's music director for a while. Ron also enjoyed riding motorcycles, driving fast cars, and playing pranks. He truly loved to laugh and make other people laugh and will be missed by all who loved him.

Mr. Proskey is survived by his sons, Ronald Proskey, Jr. and Eric Proskey; daughters, Nancy Thibos, Natalie Maisel, and Rachel Stinchcomb; brother, Albert Proskey; 18 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
