It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert J. Stranski, who left this world peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on a crisp Saturday, November 25, 1933, in Baltimore, Maryland, Robert lived a rich and eventful life.
Originally from Dundalk, Robert moved to Glen Burnie in 1972 and spent three decades there before making Pasadena, Maryland his home in 2002. He was a dedicated and hardworking driver for the Arundel Corporation, devoting 30 years of his life to a career he took great pride in before his retirement.
Outside of work, Robert was an esteemed member of the Mason Lodge #213 in Glen Burnie, building lasting friendships and contributing to the community with his warm spirit and generosity.
Robert is survived by his wife of 55 years, Deborah "Debbie" Stranski, whose partnership endured through time. He is also survived by his cherished granddaughter, Megan Jacques, along with her husband, Christopher, and their son, Logan Jacques, who were the lights of his life.
He was preceded in eternal rest by his father, Edward Stranski, mother, Vera Stranski, his dear son, Kevin Stranski, and joined in peace by his two brothers and two sisters who went before him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Melanoma Research Foundation (click HERE) in Robert's honor, to support the fight against the disease.
In respect of Robert's wishes, services and interment will be private. Those who had the privilege of knowing Robert will forever hold onto the memories of his gentle kindness, unwavering dedication to family and friends, and the wisdom of a life well-lived. He will be profoundly missed yet fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
