It is with deep sorrow that the Schmidt family announces the passing of Robert W. Schmidt, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He was an avid automobile enthusiast and had a particular fondness for trains and railway models. In his leisure time, he also enjoyed gardening and spent many joyful hours nurturing his plants and bird watching.

He is survived by his siblings: Dorothy Titmas, Diane Strehan, and David Schmidt; his devoted children: Michael Schmidt and his wife Karen; and Carol Wilson, along with her husband Rick.
