Robert Michael O'Harding, affectionately known as Mike (Lil Mike), of Pasadena, Maryland, passed away at the young age of 53. Mike lost his courageous battle with cancer with his loved ones by his side on Sunday, September 8th, 2024.
Mike was born to the late Michael A Harding and Cindy Harding on January 14th,1971. He was a devoted son, wonderful husband, loving father, and a faithful friend whose legacy will be cherished by all who knew him.
Mike is survived by his family; his mother, Cindy Harding, husband F. Maestro, and their two beloved daughters, Ariana and Addyson. Mike's passing leaves a profound void in the lives of his extended family, including Aunts, Uncles, plethora of cousins, and dear friends who were like family. He is also missed by his faithful furry companions, Tonka Toy, Zimba Zoo, and Coco (Puff).
Mike was born and raised in Federalsburg, Maryland. He graduated from Colonel Richardson High School and continued to keep close friendships from his school days. When Mike graduated from high school, he went into the transportation field, which became a life long career.
Mike was proud to join the family transportation business where he cultivated and expanded it to where it is today. Mike’s unwavering dedication and work ethic is the true commitment to his family’s legacy. His professional accomplishments were matched only by his personal devotion to his children as he continuously strived to be a source of strength and support not only for his family but for his friends.
Mike's warmth, kindness, and unyielding spirit touched the lives of many. He will be remembered for his generosity, his love for his family, and his indomitable spirit. His memory will live on through the countless lives he enriched and the indelible impact he made.
Mike’s infectious smile, his bright blue eyes will surely be missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who loved him and knew him. May he rest in eternal peace and smile upon us.
A memorial service to honor Mike’s life will be held on September 28th at 12 (noon) at the Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, MD, 3111 Mountain Road. A Celebration of Life will be held on the Eastern Shore of Maryland at a future date in October 2024.
