Robert J. Lear, Sr., 81, a resident of Glen Burnie, passed away November 11, 2021 in his home.

Mr. Lear was born January 28, 1940 in Baltimore, MD to the late Thomas and Bertha Lear. He worked as an operator at the Alco Gravure Printing Company for over 30 years until his retirement. In his younger years, he coached his kids in Softball. He loved playing basketball and played on the Senior Olympic team for several years, one of those years taking home the gold. His other hobbies included swimming and loving his animals, especially his dogs.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Lear is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Bonnie Lear and 7 siblings. He is survived by his children, Robert Lear, Jr. of Glen Burnie, MD, Susan Seeley and her husband Brian of Delaware, Cindy Neall and her husband David of Pasadena, MD, brother Charles Lear of Pennsylvania, grandchildren Robert, Michael, Shawn, Nicholas, Justin, Courtney, great grandchildren Robert, Lily, Ryan, Beau, Georgia, Amelia, and Blake.
