Robert Brewis Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Lee Brewis, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who died peacefully on Thursday, August 7th, 2025, at the age of 93. He was a cherished resident of Pasadena, Maryland, and was born on Sunday, November 15th, 1931, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Connie Brewis, and leaves behind a legacy through his children: Patty Mohr (Fred), Joey Micciche, and Angie Micciche (Paul), and his son-in-law, Roger Stephenson, Sr. He is also remembered fondly by his brother, Gene Brewis (Beverly).

His legacy continues through his grandchildren: TJ Mohr "Wee-one" (Ashley), Darrel Healy, Johnathan Mohr (Amanda), Alex Healy, Christopher Troutman, Joey "Yubby" Micciche, Roger Stephenson, Jr., and Victoria Stephenson. Robert was a proud great-grandfather to 5 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, William Gordon Brewis, mother, Katherine Brewis, daughter, Tina Stephenson, and granddaughter, Kara Micciche.

With over 50 years as a dedicated house mover, Robert was a true "jack of all trades, master of none." He had a passion for ships, auctions, and equipment, and delighted in sharing stories with friends and family. Known for his headstrong nature, he was, at his core, a big teddy bear, especially with his beloved grandchildren. He deeply cherished animals and enjoyed every moment spent with his family and friends.

Friends and family are invited to honor Robert’s memory at the Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland. An evening visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13th, 2025, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Additional visitations are scheduled on Thursday, August 14th, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at the same location on Friday, August 15th, 2025, at 11:00 am. Interment will take place immediately following services at Glen Haven Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family or Stallings Funeral Home to assist with the cost of the funeral.

In this time of loss, we find comfort in knowing that Robert’s spirit and stories will live on through the lives he touched and the love he nurtured. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
