Richard William Smith, Sr.

Richard William Smith, Sr., 79, a 60 year resident of Pasadena, MD and formerly of Baltimore, died at his home on November 22, 2020.

Mr. Smith was born on September 9, 1941 in Baltimore, MD to the late James Sr. and Eunice Smith. He worked for the Anne Arundel County Sewage Division for over 15 years before retiring in 2008. Outside of work, Richard enjoyed playing cards, bowling, and shooting pool.

Mr. Smith is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Norma L. Smith; sons, Richard W. Smith, Jr., and his wife, Pamela, and Jody R. Smith; 2 grandchildren, Brandy Kulp Biddle and Rachel Renee Hill; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, November 25 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Rd., Pasadena, MD 21122 where funeral services will begin at 8:00 p.m. Interment private.
