Reid Kreider

Reid Kreider, a beloved husband, son, step-father, and brother, passed away on Monday, April 15th, 2024 at the age of 68. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on Tuesday, July 19th, 1955, Reid grew up in Baltimore, lived in Harford County, and for the past 24 years has called Severna Park, MD his home.

Reid is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Beth Kreider; his mother Jane Kreider; step-daughters Brittany Duncan and her husband Steve and Shannon Haas and her husband Trent; sister Kim Muhlenfeld and her husband Bill; granddaughters Harper and Caroline; and nephews Ryan Muhlenfeld and Michael Muhlenfeld. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Kreider, and his son, Blair Kreider.

Reid dedicated 32 years of his life to working at the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) where he retired as the Director of Information Technology. He started his career as a mechanic working his way up to a Bus Chief and eventually Director of IT.

In his free time, Reid enjoyed sport shooting and was an NRA Range Safety Officer who was passionate about range safety.  He also enjoyed fishing, crabbing, golf, and spending time at the beach with his feet in the sand and water no matter what time of the year it was. He had a love for home improvements and enjoyed working on projects with his wife Beth. Reid had a special place in his heart for dogs.

Reid always wanted his family and friends to know how much of a blessing they were in his life, and how grateful he was for them.

Friends may visit on Thursday, April 18th, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Stallings Funeral Home where funeral services will be held on Friday, April 19th, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
