Regena Martin Obituary

Regena Martin, 74, a resident of Maryland for 70 years, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 in her home.

Mrs. Martin was born March 18, 1949 in Gadsden, Alabama to her late parents, George and Irene Cole. She worked as an administrative assistant for Northrop Grumman until her retirement after 27 years of service. She was a member of the Charles County Dart League where she would enjoy meeting friends and throwing darts. Her other hobbies included, going to the casino, crocheting, reading and cooking. She was described as being "feisty" and was fiercely independent. She was a loving mother to her children and always thought of them before herself.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martin is preceded in death by her brother, Paul Cole. She is survived by her children, Dena Walters and her husband Jeffrey, and Robert Marion; grandchildren, Cody Cook and his wife Katie, and Chloe Walters; and her best friend and companion, Christine Thomas. .
