Raymond "Mickey" Harrison Witt, a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 31st, 2026. Born on Sunday, March 23rd, 1952, in Hoboken, New Jersey and raised in Fishtown, Philadelphia. Raymond lived a life full of warmth, laughter, and dedication to his family and passions.
Raymond is survived by his beloved wife, Ann "Nancy" Witt, cherished children, Phil Witt and his wife Bree, and Katrina Jones and her husband Donnie. His legacy is further carried on by his adoring grandchildren, McKenna, Maggie Jo, Paxton, PJ, Marilyn, Benny, Boston, Luke, and Lucy, as well as his great-grandchildren, Elodie and Willow. Raymond was predeceased by his parents, Raymond Harrison Witt Sr. and Lucille “Ginger” Freeland.
A devoted car salesman by profession, Raymond will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but also for his unwavering enthusiasm for Philadelphia's sports teams. Whether cheering for the Eagles, Phillies or the Flyers, his passion for his teams was contagious. He was also an avid fan of cruising, being on the beach and was a connoisseur of the Philadelphia staple, the Philly Cheese Steak sub, with Pat's Steaks being his go-to spot.
Raymond was known for his strong, charismatic personality, loved by all who knew him — unless one professed allegiance to the Cowboys!
To honor Raymond’s life, a funeral service will be held at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland, on Thursday, June 11th, 2026, at 8:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitations at Stallings Funeral Home, scheduled for the same day, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
