Raymond J. Fox, III, 45, a six year resident of Gambrills and formerly of Ferndale, Maryland, died at his home on November 10, 2022.
Ray was born on January 8, 1977 in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from North County High School in 1995 and has worked as a Solutions Architect for Verizon for the last 16 years. Outside of work, Ray was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and loved all things soccer
Ray started his soccer career very early at Linthicum Ferndale Youth Athletic Association where he would later become the Soccer Commissioner. A position that he has held for the last 12 years. He played soccer at North County High and continued into his adult life with men’s leagues and coed. Ray has coached many teams over the years including girls soccer at Meade, North County, the Men’s team at Catonsville Community College and many rec leagues that have included his nieces, nephews and his own daughter. Ray was actively coaching the LFYAA Comets with his father. Several of those players have had him as a coach since early on in their soccer careers.
Ray is survived by his father, Raymond J. Fox; Grandmother, Evanelle Fox; his beloved wife of 15 years, Vicki Fox; daughters, Natalie Rae Fox, Macy Bryce Fox, and Jessica Renee Stayton; brothers, Donovan Fox and Jason (Heather) Fox; 1 granddaughter, Willow Renee; and 10 nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Jordan, Nat, Taylor, Chloe, Donovan, Alec, Dakota, Mason, Tyler, and CJ.
Family and friends may visit on Monday, November 21 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Rd., Pasadena, MD 21122. A funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, November 22 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 6405 S Orchard Rd, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090. In lieu of flowers, the family will be sharing ways to support Vicki and the girls as they move forward during this difficult time.
