Ralph Dixon Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ralph Edward Dixon, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who left us on Monday, February 10th, 2025, at the age of 84. Ralph was born on a beautiful spring day, Saturday, April 20th, 1940, in Sykesville, Maryland. He later became a cherished resident of Glen Burnie, MD, where he created lasting memories with family and friends.

Ralph's life was a testament to dedication, hard work, and love. For over 40 years, he worked as a pressman, a profession in which he took great pride, before retiring from the printing industry. His skill and commitment to his craft were admired by many.

Beyond his professional life, Ralph was known for his vibrant personality and zest for life. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, who cherished the serenity and thrill of the great outdoors. Ralph had a unique gift for bringing joy to those around him; his sense of humor and love for a good party were infectious, making everyone feel welcome and cherished in his presence.

Ralph is survived by his devoted wife of almost 64 years, Elizabeth Dixon, who stood by his side through life's many adventures. His legacy continues through his daughter, Debora Walker, and grandchildren, Brian and Shana, who were the pride and joy of his life. He was blessed with great-grandchildren, Alexus, Alexiz, Cali, and Bailey, and his great-great-granddaughter, Nevaeh, all of whom brought him immeasurable happiness.

Ralph also leaves behind a loving family, including his brother Ronnie Dixon, brother Francis Dixon, sister Margaret Spurlin, sister Geraldene Johnson and sister Loretta McDonald. Each of them held a special place in his heart, as did his late parents, Charles and Rose Dixon, who he joins in eternal rest.

Ralph's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those he loved and those who loved him. His was a life filled with laughter, love, and a dedication to family that will never be forgotten. The family invites all who knew him to join in a celebration of his life, on Saturday, February 22nd at 2:00 pm at Stallings Funeral Home.

May Ralph Edward Dixon rest in peace, embraced by the love of his family and the joyful memories he created.
