Phyllis A. Morris, 81, a lifelong resident of Baltimore, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 in her home.
Ms. Morris was born August 4, 1939 in Baltimore, MD to the late Clinton and Helen Johnson. Throughout her life, Ms. Morris could be described as a hard working woman who started her career at St. Agnes Hospital in ER Registration for 20 years until her retirement. She then went on to work for NSA and then later as a Cashier for Home Depot for 15 years. In her younger years, you could find Ms. Morris playing competitive Tennis with the Anne Arundel County Tennis Association. In her spare time she loved watching Raven's games, playing cards (especially pitch), baking and above all, spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Morris is preceded in death by her sons, Albert Raymond Morris, Jr., John Clinton Morris and brother Michael Kenneth Johnson. She is survived by her sons Michael Kenneth Morris, Patrick Morris (Connie Joyce-Morris), daughter Terri Francis Ziolkowski, sister Barbara Bridge, grandchildren Erica Ziolkowski (Ryan Hufnell), Raymond Morris, Breonna Morris, and Raelyn Morris.
Friends may visit from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, January 4th at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where a memorial service will begin at 7:00 p.m. The service will also be livestreamed on the obituary page and Stallings Funeral Home's Facebook page (click HERE).
