Peggy Seaman passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the age of 84. Born in Woodlawn, Maryland, on June 19, 1940, Peggy grew up surrounded by the love of her family in Arbutus.
Peggy was a long-time resident of Pasadena and dedicated 30 years of her professional life to the education sector, working as a Teacher Assistant with Anne Arundel County Schools. Her commitment to nurturing young minds was evident throughout her career, touching the lives of countless students and earning the admiration of her colleagues. She celebrated her retirement on June 6, 2006, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, patience, and encouragement.
She led a vibrant life filled with adventure, finding joy in camping, cruising and playing cards with friends, and collecting crystal and lighthouses. Her positive attitude and enthusiasm for life was contagious, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met. She was also known for her delicious pot roast, watergate salad and deviled eggs—family favorites!
Peggy is survived by her devoted husband, Robert “Bob” Seaman Jr. of Severna Park, Maryland. She is lovingly remembered by her children: Robert “Dan” Seaman and his wife Evelyn, Michael Seaman and his wife Louise and Barbara "Bobbi" LeMay and her husband John. She also leaves behind her beloved sister, Betty Roseberry and her beloved grandchildren, Daniel “Danny” Seaman, Jennifer Hallquist and her husband Randy, Douglas Borrelli and his wife Josephine, Jason Seaman, and great-grandchildren, Blayton Seaman, Hunter Miller, and Layla Seaman.
Peggy was preceded in death by her dear parents, Daniel and Nellie (Vipperman) Frank, and her brother-in-law, Andrew Roseberry. Her memory will forever live in the hearts of her family and friends.
A visitation will be held Thursday, March 6th from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where a service will be held Friday, March 7th at 11:30 am. A private interment will take place at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or Hospice of the Chesapeake.
Peggy Seaman’s kindness, warmth, and dedication to her family, friends and the children she taught will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by those whose lives she touched.
