Patsy Lou Newton, 81, a lifelong resident of Pasadena, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 in her home.
Mrs. Newton was born October 1, 1939 in Baltimore, MD to the late Henry and Alma Klein. She worked as a bus driver for special needs children / the School for the Deaf, and as a teachers aide for Anne Arundel County Public School's until her retirement in 2005 after more than 30 years of service. She also enjoyed working with special needs children. She was a lifelong, dedicated member of the Magothy Chelsea Lutheran Church. In her spare time, Mrs. Newton enjoyed walking, baking, feeding the birds, being around animals and interacting with the neighborhood children.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Newton is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John Newton and sister Lesley S. Klein. She is survived by her son John Newton, Jr. and his wife Shelley of Pasadena, daughter Debbie Kulikowski and her husband Mike of Pasadena, brother Henry W. Klein and his wife Laura of Fairfield, CA, grandchildren Candice Newton, Shelley Gange, great grandchildren Jakob Fabian, Chandler Fabian and Hazel Welzel.
A graveside service will take place Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 10:00 am at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 7231 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie, MD 21060.
