Patrick Hirsch

Patrick Hirsch, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 20th, 2025, at the age of 66. A long-time resident of the Mid-Atlantic region, Pat spent the last 36 years of his life enriching the lives of those around him, while forever cherishing his Californian roots.

Born on Saturday, June 21st, 1958, in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California, Pat was the cherished son of the late Alfred Hirsch and Alta Lucille 'Luci' Hirsch. He was also preceded in death by his beloved brother, Robert "Bob" Hirsch.

Pat's love for learning and the arts led him to San Francisco State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. He seamlessly melded his creative talents and professional life as a dedicated 36-year employee of the United States House of Representatives Recording Studio, which he proudly served as Director. His work, much like his life, was characterized by unwavering commitment and passion.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Pat found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed kayaking, biking, golfing, and playing his guitar.  He held a special fondness for the beach, a place where he took his family and found peace.

Pat is survived by his devoted wife of 31 years, Tina Hirsch; his cherished children Alyssa Molony and her husband Sean; and Patrick Hirsch, his loving brother Alfred Hirsch and his wife Wendy; and his dear sister Holly Nash and her husband Robin. He was the proud grandfather to Natalie Fiadh Molony, who brought immense joy to his life.

Pat's absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate to know him. His legacy will continue through the memories shared by his family and friends and the countless lives he touched during his lifetime.

Pat never left a room without leaving a smile on someones face.  May he rest in peace and remain forever in our hearts.
