Nancy Robin (Reed) Cole

Nancy Cole, age 71, of Maryland, passed away Sunday April 14, 2024 at 4:33 am at Washington Medstar Hospital. 

Mrs. Cole was born February 16, 1953 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late William and Bernice Reed (nee Ross). She worked as a correctional officer in Maryland Correctional Institution for Women in Jessup as a Lieutenant for 25 years until retirement. She previously worked at Koppers Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland as a Data Operator. In her free free time, Nancy enjoyed spending time with her loving husband, William "Willie" Cole, aka "sweetums" and her fur babies, Hannah, Bill, Charlie and Dorothy. She loved spending time with her many friends, going on weekend trips to Pennsylvania, galivanting around Pasadena, Annapolis and Gambrills, shooting pool, going to cookouts and attending parties. She was always there for everyone. No one would ever be hungry or without a friend as long as Nancy was in the room. She was kind, sweet and a beautiful person. 

She will be deeply missed, however she is free of pain and worries. She is now in heaven with Willie. Her love and memories will always remain in our hearts. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cole is preceded in death by her brother, David Harrison Reed and sister, Candy Elizabeth Reed.  She is survived by her brother, Jim Reed; niece, Kelly Short and her husband Jason; step-daughters, Kelly Cole and Tracy Cole. 

Friends may call Saturday, April 27th from 12:00 - 3:00 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where a service will begin at 3:00 pm. Interment is private.
