N. Joe Barnes

N. Joe Barnes, 83, a 44 year resident of Pasadena,MD and formerly of Glen Burnie, MD died on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at La Casa in Annapolis, Maryland

He was born on Tuesday, September 10th, 1940 in South Fulton, Tennessee to the late Noel I. and Nanny Jane Barnes. Mr. Barnes served honorably with the US Army during the Vietnam War era. He was employed with the US government as a photographer with 30 years of service. He was an avid photographer even in his free time.

Mr. Barnes is survived by his wife of 55 years, Andrea Barnes, his children Denise Thomas, Susan Gaeta, and Daniel Barnes; his brother Jamie Barnes; and his grandchildren Elena, Johnathan, Selene, Avery, and Owen

A celebration of life will take place at  Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 11:00 am.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Southwest Indian Foundation by clicking HERE.
