Miriam Carol (Richards) Hairsine

Miriam Carol Hairsine, 63, a lifelong resident of Maryland, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 at University of Maryland. 

Mrs. Hairsine was born May 22, 1960 in Baltimore, MD to the late Glenville and Betty Richards. In her spare time, she loved to go to the local Casino's and gamble. she also enjoyed playing BINGO, playing cards, bowling and lunch dates with her family and friends. In the summer time, she enjoyed throwing pool parties and playing corn hole. She loved spoiling not only her family, but her 3 dogs Duke, Maggie and Max. She was the kind of person who wore her heart on her sleeve, was caring, organized, stubborn and smart. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hairsine is preceded in death by her step-mother, Mary Richards; brothers, Glen Richards and his wife Jackie, and Ray Richards, Sr.; niece, Kelly Richards, and nephew, TJ Richards. She is survived by her  husband of 44 years, Jack Hairsine; daughter, Melissa Hairsine and her partner, Jeffery Harden, Jr.; brother, Dennis Richards; sister, Tina Bryant and her husband Roger; grandchildren, Savannah Dobbins, Jadyn Smith, Destiny Harden and Ashlynn Harden; nieces and nephews, Dennis Richards, Jr., Carrie Wagner, Hank Norris, Jeremy Richards, Ray Richards, Jr., Ashley Richards, Callie Richards and many great nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call Thursday, April 25th from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where a service will be held Friday, April 26th at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery immediately following services.
