Mildred "Mim" Garrison Obituary

Mildred "Mim" Dorothy Garrison (nee Forrester), 81, a lifelong resident of Maryland, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024 in her home. 

Mrs. Garrison was born March 20, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Harvey and Doris Forrester. She worked in the Deli department at the Giant Food Grocery Store until her retirement in the mid 90's after 25 years of service. She was a member of St. Jane Frances Catholic Church in Pasadena. In her free time she enjoyed watching TV, especially Comedy. Some of her favorite TV shows included, Big Bang Theory, Golden Girls and Reba. She also enjoyed shopping on QVC and had a good eye for finding the best deals. She will be greatly missed. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Garrison is preceded in death by her step father, William "Bunky" Forrester; husband David Lawrence Garrison, Sr.; sister Carolyn "Kakkie" Gleason and 1 great grandchild. She is survived by her son, Lawrence "Chip" David Garrison, Jr.; daughter, Kimberly D. Saad and her husband Tarek; sister, Mary Theresa Forrester; grandchildren, Bobby L. Galliher, III and his wife Jessica, Donald E. Moore, Blair M. Moore, David L. Garrison, III, Bradley H. Garrison, Alec F. Garrison and 5 great grandchildren. 

Family and Friends are invited to visit Tuesday, September 24th from 2-6 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where a memorial service will begin at 6:00 pm.
