Michele Lynn McCoy, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and cousin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 22nd, 2024. Michele was born on November 26th, 1963 in Baltimore, Maryland, and was lovingly raised in Pasadena.
Michele pursued her passion for education at Towson University. She provided administrative assistance at a law office in Annapolis before becoming a dedicated Director of a daycare center, influencing the lives of many children and families.
Michele was a woman of varied interests—she cherished watching vintage television shows, including a love for “I Love Lucy”, and had an impressive collection of Barbie dolls. An admirer of Van Gogh, Michele found joy and solace in his art. As a true Marylander, she was an avid fan of the Ravens and the Orioles, often found cheering them on with enthusiasm. She also had a love and appreciation of horse racing and its history.
Michele is survived by her son Brad McCoy, mother Rachel Adcock, sister Melody Pearson, brother Rob Adcock, nephew Cory Pearson, aunt Gail Boyle, cousins Tristan Boyle and Ben Smith McRobie, and her friend Roger McCoy. She was predeceased by her father Preston Adcock, grandparents Custer and Christine Smith, her uncle David Boyle and her aunt Joyce Smith McRobie.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Monday, December 30th, 2024, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland. A funeral service officiated by Ed Blizzard will follow at 11:00 am at the same location. Interment Roxana Cemetery.
Michele's warmth, dedication, and passion for life touched the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kind spirit, her contributions to education and community, and her unwavering love for her family and friends.
