Michael Edward Mullen, Sr.

Michael Edward Mullen, Sr. died on January 8, 2022. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Joseph and Betty Lee Mullen in January 1948, the third of six children.  Michael was a 1966 graduate of Glen Burnie High School, Michael taught Math at Glen Burnie in 1967.  Michael received his Bachelors of Science and his Masters Degree in Business Administration of the University of Baltimore.

Michael served in Viet Nam 1970 to 1971, and he received the Bronze Star.  Michael was an accountant with Siems Rental administration Sales before they became United Rentals.  Michael loved to travel and was proud that he visited all 50 states, 5 provinces in Canada, Bermuda, Bahamas and the US Virgin Islands.

Michael is survived by his wife of 51 years, Diane, his children Michelle Lynn (Thom Stranger), and Michael Edward Mullen, Jr. (Amy Harhausen), grandchildren Nicholas and Natalie Mullen and Justin and James Stranger.  He leaves behind loving brothers in law Larry Dorsey (Ann) and David Dorsey, and sister-in-law Dee Dorsey (Charles).  Also his siblings; sisters - Betty Jo (Jim), and MJ Moffett, brothers - Joseph (Rosemary), Patrick (Regina) and Thomas (Kathy).

Friends may visit on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm at the Stallings Funeral Home, P.A. where a memorial service will begin at 3:30pm.  Interment private.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake 90 Ritchie Highway Pasadena, MD 21122 or by clicking HERE.
