Michael John McKay

Michael John McKay, 68, passed away on September 5, 2020, at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.

Born in Cumberland on March 27, 1952, he was the son of the late Betty Jane McKay (True) and Cyril James McKay, Jr.  Michael is survived by his wife, Patricia McKay; daughter, Jennifer Disney and husband Christopher; grandsons Bennett and Joseph Disney, who affectionally referred to him as their Geezer; sister Catherine Nearhoof and husband Bill, and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and grandpup, Bailey.

Mike graduated from Fort Hill High School in the class of 1970, after which he worked for Pittsburgh Paint Glass and the Maryland Transportation Authority until he retired.

Mike enjoyed reading, history, watching baseball and spending time with his family.  Due to COVID-19, services are pending.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Johns Hopkins Scleroderma Center.
