Merry Ruark, 80, a 67 year resident of Pasadena died on April 1, 2023 at Hospice of the Chesapeake, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on November 12, 1942 in Beckley, West Virginia to the Late Patrick Ryan and Claire Bauer. Mrs. Ruark graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1960. She was employed as a SICU Unit Secretary and then Nursing Services Scheduling at Saint Agnes Hospital for over 38 years retiring in 2006. Mrs. Ruark loved traveling with her husband Tom, especially taking cruises to foreign countries as well as traveling with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time with her three grandsons and her family. In the early 70s she was a member of the Majorette Mom's for The Vogues.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband at 48 years, Thomas W. Ruark, and her twin sister, Terry Stemple. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah L. Llewellyn, and her husband Tim, Andrea Shank and her husband, Bryan, her sister, Carolyn Heilker, and her grandchildren, Bradley Knoll, Allen Shank, and Jacob Shank.
Friends may visit on Thursday, April 6 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home where funeral services will be held on Friday, April 7 at 11 AM.
