May Elaine (Bedford) Cosner

May Elaine Cosner, 88, a lifelong resident of Pasadena, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021 in her home. 

Mrs. Cosner was born August 5, 1932 in Baltimore, MD to the late Ila and Dennis Vaught.  She graduated form Glen Burnie Senior Highschool in the late 1940's. She then worked as a school secretary for the Anne Arundel County Public School System until her retirement in the mid 1990's. During her career, she worked at Bodkin Elementary and Lakeshore Elementary School. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, Aerobics, and gardening (especially vegetables and flowers). 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cosner is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, David R. Cosner and sister Ann "Dinky" Bedford. She is survived by her sons Donald D. Cosner of Severna Park, Daniel E. Cosner (Katherine) of Pasadena, Karen Dacre (Michael) of Pasadena, and sister Patricia Simpson of Abington, MD. 

A graveside service will be held Friday, July 30th at 2:30 pm at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 7231 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie MD, 21061. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA  of Anne Arundel County by clicking  HERE
