Mary Grahe Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary M. Grahe, cherished resident of Pasadena, Maryland. Mary passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 24th, 2025, at the age of 83. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, on October 29th, 1941, Mary led a life marked by love, dedication, and passion for her crafts.

Mary was a devoted member of the Baltimore community, graduating from Southern High School. She went on to have a distinguished 30-year career as a Clerk, initially at Western Electric on Broening Highway in Baltimore. Through dedication and hard work, she continued her career with Lucent Technologies in Reading, Pennsylvania, before retiring in 1996. Her colleagues will remember her as a committed and hardworking individual who brought warmth and a sense of camaraderie to the workplace.

Mary's talents and interests were as varied as they were vibrant. She was an avid enthusiast of crocheting and needlepoint, creating works that brought joy and comfort to those around her. She found solace in the intricate patterns of crossword puzzles, which she approached with the same tenacity and precision that characterized her life.

Mary is survived by her beloved brother, Paul Grahe and his wife Linda. She was a treasured aunt to Robert Grahe (Mindy) and Carolyn Pillow and great aunt to Brandon Grahe , Grace Pillow, and Faith Pillow (Lawrence) whose lives she touched deeply with her kindness and generosity. Mary is preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Grahe Sr.; mother, Mary E. Grahe; sister, Nancy L. Dulaney; and brother, Robert L. Grahe Jr. Her memory will continue to inspire her family and friends for generations to come.

Family, friends, and all who knew and loved Mary are invited to join in a celebration of her life. Visitation services will be held on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025, at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland. Afternoon visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, followed by evening visitation from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service honoring Mary's life will be conducted at the same location on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025, at 10:00 am.
