Mary J. (Hammond) Cumor

Mary J. Cumor, 85, a 60 year resident of Catonsville, MD, died on May 8, 2020 at the Frederick Villa Nursing Center.

Mary Cumor was born on March 17, 1935 in Baltimore, MD to the late Aloysius and Lillian Hammond. She worked for many years as a bank teller. In her retirement years, she enjoyed visiting casinos, playing cards and Bingo, completing puzzles, and taking care of her dogs. Mary was also a member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Catonsville.

In addition to her parents, Mary Cumor is preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Fifer and Florence "Sis" Battenfield. She is survived by her sons, Roland Jr. and his wife, Mary, Ronald and his wife, Debra, Robert, and Richard; daughters, Helen Skrenczuk and her husband, Bruce, and Donna Rudolf and her husband, Robert; brother, Aloysius "Buddy" Hammond; sisters, Lillian Beccio and Elizabeth Patricia Roeder; 4 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

In response to the state-mandated COVID-19 restrictions, the immediate family has chosen to keep the funeral services private in order to protect the health of the public.
