Obituary
Martin H. Burrhus, Jr. (Mickey/Pip) passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
Mickey was a talented craftsman and carpenter and spent many years both working his craft and toiling in the talent he loved so passionately.
Mickey is survived by his wife, Christine Burrhus, his step-daughter Tammy Emmons, and step-granddaughter Ashley Edge, of West Virginia. Mickey is also survived by his mother Joan Church,
of Millsboro, DE and five siblings: Karen Skidmore, of North Carolina, Susan Bowen of, Edgewater Maryland, Lisa Workman, Tracey Bryan, and Kristin Smith, who all reside in Delaware.
Mickey was predeceased by his father Martin Harold Burrhus, Sr. and his younger brother Steven Burrhus.
Mickey came from a large family and has a host of nieces and nephews as well as other family members and friends who will dearly miss him.
Mickey loved animals and adored his 3 furry friends Peanut, Bree Bee, and Bobby.
Mickey is known for his big sense of humor and a very identifiable laugh. He enjoyed doing silly and creative things to make others smile. He was a character!!
Burial will be private. A celebration of Mickey’s life will be scheduled to take place at a later date.
