Mark Edward Hampton

Mark Edward Hampton, 57, a lifelong resident of Maryland, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. 

Mr. Hampton was born May 28, 1966 in Flinstone, MD to Blanche Bishop and the late Harold Dean Hampton, Sr. He worked at Amtrak as a Technician. In his free time, Mr. Hampton liked to cut wood, go fishing and explore the outdoors. He was described as a homebody who enjoyed his privacy. 

In addition to his father, Mr. Hampton is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Hampton. He is survived by his mother, Blanche Bishop; brother, Dean Hampton and his wife Michelle; sister Connie Greene and her husband Richard, Sr.; nieces and nephews Jared Hampton, Meghan Hampton, Crystal Hultz and her husband Steve, Richard Greene, II and his wife Nikki; great nieces and nephews, Andrew Hultz, Cayden Hultz, Hailey Hultz, Erica Greene, and Savannah Greene. 

Friends may call Thursday, August 17th from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where a service will be held Friday, August 18th at 11 am. Interment will take place at Meadowridge Memorial Park immediately following funeral services.
