Mark D. Allison

Mark D. Allison, 76, a lifelong resident of Baltimore, MD, died at his home on September 1, 2021.

Mr. Allison was born in Baltimore, MD to the late Donald and Pauline Allison. He attended St. Mary of the Assumption-Govans Parish School through the 8th grade and graduated from Loyola High School. He then went on to receive his Associate's Degree from Loyola College. Mark remained a dedicated Catholic and faithful member of St. Mary's throughout his life, even serving as a security officer for the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Before that career, he worked as a customer service representative for Greyhound and Trailways. 

Outside of work, Mark enjoyed traveling, taking his family to the horse races, and cheering for the Orioles and Colts (later the Ravens). He was also a pet-lover who will be dearly missed by his dog, Francis.

Mr. Allison is survived by his beloved partner and friend of over 25 years, Mary Ford; step-children, Shawn and Tyesha Pinkney; 6 grandchildren, Natarvia, D.J., Nevaeh, Trinity, Zishaun, and Anya; and his very good friends, Bill, Dennis, Gordon, Steve Randall, and Gail Fennessey.
