Marilyn Faye (George) Bozel

Marilyn Faye Bozel, 89, an 8 year resident of Glen Burnie, MD, died on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Heartlands Assisted Living.

She was born on Sunday, March 24th, 1935 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Frank and Laura George. Faye grew up in Baltimore, Maryland then moved briefly to Delta, Pennsylvania before moving to Flagler Beach, Florida in 1974. She lived in Florida until 2016 when she moved back to Glen Burnie, Maryland to live with her daughter and son-in-law. Mrs. Bozel began her working career as an administrative assistant for various companies before becoming a bus driver for Baltimore County. When she moved to Florida she began working as a bus driver for Flagler County working her way up to a supervisor position before retiring in 2000. .In her free time she enjoyed playing bingo, slot machines, crafts, and going to the dog track. .

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Richard Bozel; her son Victor Hoover; and her brother James George.

Mrs. Bozel Iis survived by her daughter Vanessa Cochran and her husband Timothy, her granddaughter Jessica Cochran and her fiancé Gavin Stewart, and nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 4:00 to 5:30 pm at the Stallings Funeral Home where services will begin at 5:30 pm that same day. Interment private.
