Marie Dolores Reilly

Marie Dolores Reilly was born on August 19th, 1926 to the late William and Marie Milans, in Washington DC, where she lived until her marriage to Frank Reilly in 1953. Marie spent most of her life in Scotch Plains, NJ and the surrounding area. She was a devout Catholic and was an active member of St. Bartholomew the Apostle church in Scotch Plains. She worked for Cenlar Bank in NJ, and in her free time enjoyed baking and working with children as a Girl Scout leader. She was a woman of deep faith, and lived her life in Christ’s image.

In addition to her parents, Marie is preceded in death by her husband Frank, her Daughter Ann-Marie, her brother Bill, and her sister Lillian. She is survived by her son William, her granddaughters Elizabeth, Ashley, and Jennifer, and her sister Gertrude.

Friends may visit on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Stallings Funeral Home.  A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10:00 am on Wednesday at Our Lady of the Chesapeake Catholic Church 8325 Ventnor Road Pasadena MD.  Interment at 1:00 pm on Thursday at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936.  In lieu of flowers please donate to the Alzheimer’s Association by clicking HERE.
