Margaret Horrocks

Margaret Eva Horrocks, 79, a lifelong resident of Glen Burnie, MD, died on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Hospice of the Chesapeake.

She was born on Monday, February 7th, 1944 in Maryland to the late Richard Walter and Margaret Upsher Rother. Mrs. Horrocks retired from Giant Food after more than 20 years of service. She was a member of the Bible Church of Lake Shore and the Fifty-Five Plus Club. In her free time she enjoyed crafts of all kinds especially ceramics, crocheting and making jewelry.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son Donnie Riley, her brothers Richard Rother and James Rother, and her sister Rosalie Jones.

Mrs. Horrocks is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kenneth Horrocks, her daughter Margaret L. Watkins, her daughter in law Michelle Haynie, her grandchildren Heather Pellegrini and Raymond Watkins and his wife Phylicia, and 4 great grandchildren

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023 at Stallings Funeral Home Pasadena, Maryland from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm where funeral services will take place on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 at 10:00 am. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
