It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lynn Gail Paddy, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Lynn passed away peacefully, on Friday, August 22, 2025, in her residence in Pasadena, Maryland with family by her side. She was 68 years old.
Lynn was born on Saturday, July 6, 1957 in Mt. Holly, New Jersey to Harry Earnest and Leona Powell, both of whom preceded her in death. She was raised in Bedford, Pennsylvania before moving to Maryland for college.
Lynn was a proud and dedicated real estate agent, working for more than 25 years. Beyond her work, Lynn had a love for shopping, traveling and being with friends. She loved to find a good deal for her clients, friends, and herself. Lynn really enjoyed traveling and loved the beach. Some of her favorite places were Florida, the Outer Banks and Hawaii. She also enjoyed spending time and playing games with friends. She was caring and wise, often playing the roles of confidant and advisor to her many close friends. Her love of helping others led her to touch the lives of many.
She leaves behind a son, Brian Paddy of Pasadena, Maryland along with her treasured grandson, Cooper Costello-Paddy, who brought immense joy to her life. Lynn is also survived by her siblings Kay Potter of Ada, Ohio and Bonnie Knepper of Toledo, Ohio.
An evening visitation will be held at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland on Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Friends and family are invited to join in celebrating her life, sharing memories and offering support to one another during this difficult time.
Lynn’s kindness and generous spirit touched the lives of many and she will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by those whose lives she enriched.
