Lorraine E. Saghy, 69, a 15 year resident of Pasadena, MD and formerly of Baltimore, died on July 23, 2020 at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
Mrs. Saghy was born on May 23, 1951 in Baltimore, MD to the late Irma Wilson. She graduated from Edmondson High School in 1969 and most recently worked for Voshell's Pharmacy in Baltimore as a Pharmaceutical Technician. She retired in 2012 after over 15 years of service.
Lorraine was the kind of person who was always humming a tune and loved playing with her granddaughter. In her spare time, she enjoyed taking trips to Ocean City and collecting Snowmen. As a matter of fact, she loved everything related to Christmas.
Mrs. Saghy is survived by her loving husband of over 47 years, James J. Saghy; son, Jason J. Saghy and his wife, Kari, of Pasadena; brother, George W. Wilson and his wife, Lynn, of Severna Park; sisters, Wendy Quasney and her husband, Robert, of Pasadena and Bonnie L. Wilson of Lansdowne; 1 grandchild, Blair Renee Saghy; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, July 28 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Rd., Pasadena, MD 21122 where a memorial service will begin at 8:00 p.m. Interment will take place on Wednesday, July 29 at 11:30 a.m. at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery. Please be aware that, due to county-mandated COVID-19 restrictions, Stallings Funeral Home is only allowing 35 people in the building at a time and face coverings must be worn while inside. Only 24 people are permitted at the Veterans Cemetery.
